Weekly Themes and Activities for Kids Age 5-15

Create real fashion pieces – from simple garments and accessories to mini collections, kids turn ideas into things they can actually wear or share.

Build confidence & voice – every stitch and sketch helps kids express who they are, practice decision-making, and feel proud of their own style.

Learn real-world skills – sewing, patternmaking, hand embroidery, mixed media, styling, runway practice, and basic design thinking.

Play with sustainable fashion – using rescued textiles, deadstock fabrics, magazines, trims, and notions to transform “old” into fresh, imaginative designs.

Experience the runway & showcases – family-friendly celebrations where kids share their work, their process, and their joy (with some designs invited to our big Fall Runway Show).

Make friends & feel belonging – small groups, kind instructors, and an environment where everyone is encouraged to support, listen, and cheer for each other.

Have screen-free, hands-on connection and fun – a week filled with making, laughing, trying, re-trying, and discovering just how creative they really are.
